The MG TF was produced from 1953 to 1955 as the final evolution of the traditional T-Series MGs. It featured a streamlined body with faired-in headlamps, a sloping radiator grille, and a lower seating position. Initially powered by the 1,250 cc XPAG engine, it was later upgraded to the 1,466 cc XPEG engine in the TF 1500, producing 63 bhp.
