The Sunbeam Alpine was a two-seat sports car produced by the Rootes Group from 1959 to 1968 across five series. Powered by a series of four-cylinder engines ranging from 1,494 cc to 1,725 cc, the Alpine offered stylish open-top motoring with genuine sporting credentials. Over 69,000 were built, with the car gaining fame through appearances in film and motorsport. The Alpine also served as the basis for the V8-powered Sunbeam Tiger.
