MG Midget

The MG Midget was produced from 1961 to 1979 as a badge-engineered version of the Austin-Healey Sprite Mark II. Starting with a 948 cc A-Series engine, it progressed through 1,098 cc and 1,275 cc versions, with the final cars using a 1,493 cc Triumph engine. Small, nimble, and affordable, the Midget was the entry point to MG sports car ownership for thousands of enthusiasts.
