Testing the Vintage Off Road Wrecker to the Limits
Today I head out the Oak Ridge MX Motorcross facility in Garwin, IA for their Halloween five mile trail ride for 4x4s. While on the motorcross course it feels like you are driving on a roller coaster but some of the creek crossings ending up being more challenging than they first appeared. The drum brakes on the wrecker prove to inadequate and it takes a much larger machine to finish the recovery attempt I tried to make on a square body Chevy.

If you are ordering these calipers be careful because there are two versions, the newer version uses metric bolts and pins. Cars built in or after 1972 might be using the metric version.
