Today I attended the 2022 Heartland British Auto Fest car show in Le Claire Iowa put on by the Quad Cities British Car Club. Last year time I was here I was showing my Austin Healey Sprite barn find 1 but today I drove my Austin Healey 100.

Today I give you a tour of the 1985 Blue Bird Wanderlodge PT36 motor coach that I have owned for the last twelve years. I have used this rv bus to pull my trailer all over the United States as far west as Colorado to Ohio and as far North as Wisconsin to Georgia. There is a huge active owners group for these vintage birds so contact them if you are thinking about the rv life.

Today I am looking back to 2014 having my Lotus Elise at the Northwoods Shelby Club track day at Road America.
“Doc”, a World War II B-29 Bomber showed up at a local burger burn so I decided to go up and took a look. I was lucky enough to get there in time in a 1943 Grumman G-21 Goose to see it cold start and take off. We had a 20 knot headwind getting there but it was a great flight. This B29 will be at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show.
