This Week With Cars
Today I head out the Oak Ridge MX Motorcross facility in Garwin, IA for their Halloween five mile trail ride for 4x4s. While on the motorcross course it feels like you are driving on a roller coaster but some of the creek crossings ending up being more challenging than they first appeared. The drum brakes on the wrecker prove to inadequate and it takes a much larger machine to finish the recovery attempt I tried to make on a square body Chevy.

Today I get back to the 1972 TVR Vixen 2500 project and finally fix the front brakes for good. If you are ordering these calipers be careful because there are two versions, the newer version uses metric bolts and pins. Cars built in or after 1972 might be using the metric version.
